Anekasha is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by Mrs. Meena Sharma and Wg. Cdr. R. K. Sharma. The foundation’s mission to uplift India’s youth through education originated with a belief always espoused by Meena’s mother, Kaushalya Devi – she believed that education was the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and Meena and RK wholeheartedly agree.
Since its inception, Anekasha has made significant progress towards achieving its mission. Anekasha’s flagship program, the Kaushalya Devi Scholarship named or Meena’s mother, provides educational support at both the grade school and university levels, with additional support available for the special needs of neurodiverse children. Anekasha believes that life is not lived in a vacuum, and providing education alone is not enough to ensure success for its students.
In turn, the foundation offers additional programs promoting access to nutritious food, clean water, and quality healthcare. The impact of Anekasha’s programs and initiatives is evident in the stories of individuals and communities who have benefited from them. From providing scholarships to children who would otherwise not have access to education, to implementing sustainable farming practices, and promoting women’s empowerment, Anekasha’s work has positively impacted thousands of lives.
Transparency and accountability are critical to Anekasha’s core values, and the foundation has robust governance and policies in place to ensure that donor funds are being used responsibly and effectively.
The foundation commits to posting applicable financial reports and audited financial statements as they become available.
Anekasha maintains integrity of operations via strict policies including its code of ethics, conflicts of interest policy, and whistleblower policy.
Anekasha continues to make a difference in the lives of marginalized communities in India through donations, volunteering, and partnerships with other organizations.
By providing resources and guidance where they previously did not exist, Anekasha is also providing hope for futures reimagined.
